Who is the chracter halo on the halo games

'Halo' is not a character in the halo series. In the story, 'Halo' was created by an ancient civilization to wipe out all life in the universe just in case that they lost the fight against the 'flood' a parasite that would make any living creature its own. The 'Covenant' is a radical religious group of many species of aliens that are dead set on the belief that activating 'Halo' would make them all gods. The object in the game in Halo was to make sure the Covenant didn't activate Halo and killed all life.
