Can you play games on Linux

Yes. There aren't a whole lot of video games produced for Linux. Most Windows games, however, can be played using an application compatibility layer called "Wine." There are also a few open-source games, including Tremulous, Warsow, Warrock, Alien Arena 2008, Battle for Wesnoth, Tux Racer, Sauerbraten, and Pingus. Some commercial games produced for Linux include DOOM 3, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, Eve Online, Quake 3 Arena, Quake 4, Droid Assault, Neverwinter Nights, and DEFCON. Most browser-based games, such as Adventure Quest or Runescape also work.
