How do you get new weapons in samurai warriors 2 empires

1.Play Empire Mode
2.Get All Smith and a lot of gold (about 20000-50000)
3.Upgrade it to 5 or 4
4.go into battle and equip 3rd weapon
5.get 500 KO's
6.finish the battle and you have all weapons for that character

(There Are No Fifth Weapons)
