What is the highest score in spider solitaire
On 4/5/2011 with 2 suits I scored 1310 my highest so far. But to tell you the truth I was just playing and not really paying that much attention until I won the game and saw the score. Typically I get anywhere between 1100 to 1260 and have played over 2200 games.

The Game Starts With 8 Suits (of 13 Cards) and 500 points. You lose 1 point for each move you take back and you gain 100 points for each Suit (of 13 Cards.) In windows XP, moves cannot be taken back beyond the removal of a Suit (of 13 Cards) but in Vista they can. When a take back of a Suit is made, 101 points should be taken from your score [100 for the suit which you will regain and 1 point penalty for the take back.] The glitch occurs in that sometimes when you take back a suit, it only takes back 1 point from your score instead of 101 points. It then gives you an additional 100 points for the Suit when you remove it for the second time. This can happen numerous times if keep performing take backs beyond Suits. Get to the end and take back to the beginning and see how much you start with(your score is limitless.) The glitch does not occur every time but you will discover that this is the case.

From what I can tell, there are points based on how many moves you make plus "bonus points" based on speed. When the bonus clock runs out you get only your straight points...but how many of those bonus points are available, or how much time you have to collect them...I don't know.
My high scores on the medium level are 1275, 1258 and 1239 but I've read about scores that are much higher.

I scored a 1302 on medium level level I also have a 1264 and 1261 and a 1256. I had a 97% win percentage but screwed that up by only going for the highest score. I have a screen shot to back this up. I have no idea how I did it, I often play when I am on hold and it must of happened while I was doing that becasue for the life of me I can not get over 1220 anymore.

Nearly all of my scores (from 6-thousand-odd games) have been in the 1100 range. I recently scored 1228 and don't know how I did it.
I showed my partner how to play and the first game he completed he scored 1330 and has no idea how. I am dying to figure out how to get the big points - there must be a way to get a bonus?? I'm searching the net to find out how it's done!

Hi,
I actually scored 1300 on medium suit spider solitaire. I still have a screen shot of my scores before I reformatted my computer.
1300
1263
1247
are my top three high scores on spider solitaire for the medium (two suit) level.

I somehow got a 1910. No cheat engine. 1254 should be as high as you can go. I'd like to know what is up too.
Greetings: I just submitted a few lines in the "discussion room". Basic scoring seems to be something we've figured out -- but, there's either a glitch or something unexpected in the formula that allows for scores over 1260. Perhaps someone who really understands will feel welcome to help explain . . .
Thanks, in advance, to that person.

Yes it could be a glitch as the computer I am using now has the windows XP version of spider solitaire and it is much harder to achieve high scores. For newer versions of windows they must have changed the formula for scoring slightly. By the way Joel read up there I got 1300 on two suits. Is there anyone out there who can beat that?

My bet is that if there's not a glitch associated with the very highest scores, perhaps there is some added bonus if you solve a game using the fewest possible moves. I.e., if you "put it back together" xactly in reverse of the way the particular game was it constructed, there is a special prize of . . .

P.S. - How about winning streaks in Intermediate level. Since discovering the ability to use unlimited "undo", my streak's at 137. (whoop-de-do, brag, brag, brag...)
There Are 8 Sets Of Cards. You Gain points by removing Sets. 100 Points for each Set. The Glitch occurs when you take back moves "BEYOND A SET OF CARDS". The 100 points is not always subtracted from the score. The Highest Technical score is 1300 (100 for each set(800) + the 500 you start with.) This is not possible to achieve because it would have to be achieved without Moving. (Since you lose a point for every move even UNDO's.
With XP this is impossible because you cannot UNDO beyond a set you have removed.
If you have the time you can get to the end of the game and take the moves back (beyond SETS OF CARDS) enough times that the only thing standing between you and the highest score that you have ever made is... Well you get the idea. Give it a try and see what happens.
