How Do you Smuggle in maple story

"Smuggling" was patched so it is no longer possible. However if you would still like to try, here are the steps (you will lose the items).

1. Go to the exit with the items you wish to smuggle
2. Drop the items you wish to smuggle
3. Talk to the Npc needed to leave the map, but leave the chat box open.
   
4. Disconnect your internet cord and quickly...
5. Leave the map (by clicking "next" or "ok")
6. Pick up the items
7. Reconnect the internet cord

If smuggling were still possible, you would have the passes/coupons/cakes outside of the party quest but since it has been patched, you just lose them.
