What happens to a minor who has run away

Minors attempting to survive alone often get exploited, abused, or even murdered. If your question means what happens legally if caught by law enforcement, they might be returned to their parents or sent to foster care. Don't run away. Talk to a school counselor, minister, or other responsible adult that you can trust.   Well if their parents care they'll have the authorities on it ASAP. Now for the runaway they are scared, lonely, broke, hungry and they are easy prey for the low lifes in this world to take advantage of. If the authorities are diligent they will work with other agencies to locate the minor as quickly as they can. Hopefully, some good sameritone with see a flyer or maybe just the sad looking minor and talk them into calling or going home. More by IshBlake-I ran away with 2 others, we had food and everything expect their were alot of cops on us.I ran away because me and my friends broke into someones house and they almost filed charges.We ran and they didn't. I have lots of friends, they say I did it cuz I'm stupid LoL. Anyway, you'll probably have 40 hours of community service, my decidence from the judge still hasn't came yet
