How do you make chaos hatch

Pick up the Egg by pressing B or X then hold either button keep holding then let go wait and then yay your chao is born. Alternately you can throw the chao egg around a bit until it hatches, but doing this might have a negative effect on the appearance and personality of your chao, so it is not recommended!
