Does dr robotnik have parents

In Adeventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Robotnik does indeed have a mother. She despises having a son who can't "catch that pesky hedgehog". She escapes from The Home for Really Bizzare Mothers 3 times in AOSTH. Like mother, like son.

In the Archie Comics, Robotnik's parents are named but not seen.

In the games and Archie Comics, it can be safely assumed that he has parents, though they have yet to be seen, or (in the games), named, but he has a shown Grandfather and a shown cousin.
