What are some really fun games for the computer that you dont have to pay for
It depends what you define as "fun". Everyone has different ideas of what's fun and what isn't. For example, I find strategy and RPG games fun, while I despise sports games and don't see the appeal in anime games.
There are many websites available such as Kongregate, ArmoredGames and so on which offer flash games to play for free. They are categorised in genres so you can find the ones you personally define as "fun".

Origin (EA's digital distribution platform) has a free games
section, and also occasionally offers some of their games for free.
Steam also has a Free-to-Play category on their store, which has a
large range of popular free-to-play games, including Dota 2, Team
Fortress 2, etc...
I'd also recommend an XCOM clone called UFO: Alien Invasion, which
is similar to the classic XCOM: UFO Defense, and is Free Open
