no u dont it is totally free
except if u decide to get a zcard with is like a credit card in real life but ofcourse its a game
some stuff on zwinky u cant buy with usual zwinky money u have to use a zcard
and a zcard is for money unless u get a small ammount for free for doing surveys and stuff
