Hmmm, this sounds like it could be a driver issue, specifically some sort of conflict between the driver and the game software itself. It could also be an interference issue if you are using a wireless keyboard or mouse. If the latter, try moving your wireless dongle to another part of your desk to keep it from getting behind your phone, monitor or other clutter on your desk. On my desk, for example, I have a nano adapter for the Logitech K800 wireless keyboard and M570 wireless trackball. When I had it plugged directly into the computer, though the tower is sitting next to my desk and within about a foot of where I typically sit, it was at an angle at which reception was hit and miss, so I put it on a USB extension cable and tucked it under my desk hutch but found when I had papers or other things that got set on top of it, the communication once again was not all that consistent. So now, I have strung the extension cable and dongle along the front of the top of the dongle and have it taped (with electrical tape) up there. This has provided perfect service for over a year now. The only problem I have at this point is that the batteries need to be recharged. ;-) If these suggestions don't do the trick for you, drop me a line and let me know. I'll be glad to see if I can provide you some additional assistance.

Making the world better, one answer at a time.
thanks for the insight.. i tried it to no avail.. could it be a
video card issue?? some games play perfect one game in particular
give me that same sound and periodic freeze when its loading but
when it starts its all good... others give me the same issue
throughout the entire duration of gameplay ... no matter how low i
set the resolution or graphics.

This does not appear to have anything to do with video/graphics
since the sound you mentioned is in regard to USB connection
cycling. As such, I still think this has something to do with a USB
device and some sort of conflict with the game. Have you noticed
this as being experienced more with a certain family of games, such
as when you are running Steam or Origin games but not others?
