It is relatively easy once you know the proper procedure. There is a special shortcut. At the main menu, hold down B, X, Y, L, R, up, Select, Start, and left in that order. Do not let go of any of the other buttons as you press down the next, as these first 8 hide the fact you are cheating from the game. Letting go of B, X, Y, L, R, up, Select, Start, or left will instantly reset the game card as a punishment. Once you have hit the left button, you may let go of all buttons. Hold down Y, X, L, R, and Select to bring up a menu that allows you to select which profile to attach the cheat to. After this, do the first step in the opposite order to apply the cheat. Again, you cannot release left, Start, Select, up, R, L, Y, X, B or the game will reset. If the profile selection does not show up, you should simply do the cheat activation step, which will attach the cheat to all profiles. After this, you should have Darth Maul.
