How do you avoid the blue turtle shell in mariokart

mushroom. just when it is right about to hit you, use that mushroom to move out of its way. Don't do it too early or else it will hit you. Don't do it too late, or...it'll hurt you and you won't have your mushroom anymore. you have to do it just right. also, in MarioKart Wii, if you are in a cannon, etc. going really fast, you can avoid it like that, too. Also, if you are right in front of the 2nd person, you can back up(if not too late) and it'll hit the other person instead. you gotta stay away from the now-first-but-will-be-second-in-a-second person or else you will get hurt(not as badly as the person the Blue shell is coming for, tho) Hope this helped!
