What is dragon age awakenings about

i admit i didnt quite get the plot at first but here is a quick round up

so you ended the blight one way or another, but not all darkspawn retreated. you start off by clearing up the remainers that attck vigls keep. then you some how discover a new 'race' of darkspawn talking and thinking. the architect started by giving them freedom by drink grey warden blood. one of his 'creations' was the mother. she now, as a thinking and talking darkspawn, want to rebel agaisnt the architect and cause mayhem. you have to stop it with or wtihout the architect's help.
so to sum up. new darkspawn, attacking, you have to stop it.
