How do you go back into free mode after you beat la noire After the last mission i beat the game and it goes to the main menu after credits. when i hit resume it makes me do over the last mission

You go to the 'Cases' folders. Once you complete the last mission on each desk (apart from Patrol) the free roam option appears. 'Resume' only continues progress from your last save point within a case.
