Are video games stupid

Some are; but in general no.

Video games are no more or less stupid than any other concept of gaming. People have been playing games for thousands of years. Games are our hobby's our entertainment, they can even be part of our education.

Games open new worlds, new ideas, and allow us to interact with others in new and interesting ways.

To blindly call video games stupid is to miss the entire realization that games have been a part of human life since the beginning. Modern forms just happen to be even more visually stimulating and capable of even more depth than any form of gaming available prior to the computer age.
