Where do you find a steel longsword in Sonic and the Black Knight

Absolutely anywhere. It's virtually the most common item in the game, regardless of its rarity rating. To top off th ease, defeat King Arthut in Avalon, which only earns you roses, a few potions, and steel items; nothing else.
