How do you stop somebody from being addicted to video games if they dont want to stop

You can't. If they don't want to stop, don't waste your time trying to stop them. Besides, how bad is it to be addicted to video games? It's better than being addicted to drugs or just about anything else that's considered a vice. Sometimes some people get addicted to games because its a different world they can live in. I would be more concerned about if there is anything else going on in their life. Just talk to the gamer and tell them how you feel, but do not get frustrated when he/she turns you down to play more video games. Eventually, they should come around and you can explain your side.
