In ninja gaiden 2 what is a weaponless run

A weaponless run is when someone goes through the whole game using only projectile weapons, like the fiend's bow, and ninpo.
When they get to the last save spot, they save and use the weapon of their choice to get the achivement needed for using only one weapon throughout the whole game, then turn the game off before it saves, and they keep doing that until they get all the achievements needed for going through the whole game with one weapon.
