How do you talk in half life 2 deathmatch
- Get a microphone
- Plug it into your computer
- Go into half life 2 death match and then go to options->voice
- Click detect hardware
- Click test microphone
- Speak into the microphone to make sure it works
- Switch to the "Keyboard" tab of the options menu
- Go down to communication and find "use voice communication"
- press edit key
- press a key you want to hold down when you talk
- press apply
- In-game, hold down the key you assigned in step 10 (you should see a speaker in the bottom right corner of your screen while holding the key down) and speak.
