How do you mix and mach LEGO guys on LEGO battles

In 1-p Free Play or 2-p Multiplayer, you tap on the minifig you want swapped out, select the guy you want to replace it with, and hit the double arrow [<-->] button near the bottom. Your guy has been swapped out to use in battle now.
