How do chao breed on sonic 2 adventure battle

Sometimes, (It will happen based on on the game, you cannot altar this) Flowers will bloom around the chao. When this happens, bring a chao and place it next to the flowering chao. (Sometimes it will work, sometimes not. If not, Bring another chao!) If it does wedding, music will play and another chao will be born. Hope it helps! BYE!
