But really they wear nothing like Altair although I wish they were. to reach their target they dressed as surveillance or sometimes infiltrated organisation's They did not always kill, but left warnings e.g. an assassin crept into Saladin's guarded tent and left a dagger in a cake next to his bed. They were much more stealthy than it is possible to be in Assassins Creed, although from what I hear things may change for the sequel.
