How do you get in the millennium falcon in mos eisley spaceort level of Star Wars the complete saga

I haven't played it for a while, but from memory you have to defeat the stormtroopers until there is none left then defeat the alien creature that is wearing black. I think the door to the falcon opens up. Sorry if this didn't work!
