How do you catch fish in Animal Crossing

It's simple. Just drop the fishing rod into the water and wait. If the fish nibbles at it then wait a bit more and when it starts to circle the bate you need to pull in out by clicking on the player or pressing A

That works too but you also got to listen out for a little plop sounds..xlol
