Did Naked snake get the medal of honor in Metal Gear Solid 3

no unfortunately he only got the distinguished service cross which only the SECOND highest ranking medal in the military, while the medal of honor is the highest, personally i think he should of got the medal of honor cause he saved the world from a freakin nuclear war...
