What do you do to kill the Zeugl in the sewers in The Witcher

You keep attacking its tentacles (Silver Sword, strong style) until it raises its head above the water. Do as much damage to the head as you can, before it sinks down again and you have to defend yourself from the tentacles again. Igni works well on the head.
