Can you play Grand Theft Auto 4 on a PC if you put the game disc in it

PC use PC game discs so if it is a PC game then your PC must meet certain requirements as many older PCs do not play the newest games and some of the older games do not work on Vista or Windows 7 and I don't know about GTA 4
