How do you get inside the heart of Gittingham Palace in Dragon Quest IX

after defeating hootingham gore, go inside the palace. once inside, all the way to the right. then, keep going straight until you see a door on the left side. go through that. you will be outside. DON'T go through the first doorway you see. keep running, then go through the second doorway you see. make your way around the room you are in until you make it to some stairs with a blue light. step into the blue light to heal yourself, if needed. go up the stairs. go left to another doorway that leads outside. make your way south along the ledge until you come to a door. fight goresby purrvis. then, head inside the door.
