How does video games increase violence
The original answer is not quite correct.
>> When children begin playing video games, they start to learn about violence, >> and eventually they develop the idea that killing their opponent is "winning". >> Also, whenever someone dies in a video game they usually "respawn" after a >> short amount of time, so children believe this happens in real life, and they >> decide to test it out...
For many people playing video games is more an escape. You don't play video games to become violent, you play them because you enjoy it. Are you going to continue doing something (for fun) that you don't enjoy?
Is OP mentally handicapped? How many children have you heard of (not even known personally) but just read about that though 'hmm, people in COD respawn, this must happen in real life too then' and try it? Seriously? People are inherently 'evil', that's why the world is like this right now - people aren't 'programmed' (I wish people were programmable and not just NLP either) to be nice, if they can be mean, they will be - just think of the teenage girls who pride themselves on being a b***h.
People don't enjoy racing games so they decide to go out and race with real cars, they enjoy the idea of it, (but generally can't (how many NASCAR racers are there?)), so they resort to video games.
