Why is Heather unable to speak in drawn to life

Heather is unable to speak because of Wilfre's shadow goo, she is mute, but at the end she speaks like Crazy Barks,when the goo is half cured.

In Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter, Her goo is cured and Wilfre kidnapped her. In this sequel you will go to 4 different places, like Waterstrong, Lavasteam, SpaceJungle, and Wilfre's Wasteland. The Mayor is not killed, because he appears when you get to Wilfre's Wasteland. When you defeat Wilfre, the goo is fully-cured and you don't to go to the old village when the came is over.
