What do you do on the first part of assassin creed 2

First, follow Lucy out of Abstergo and do as she says... including to "Shut the f**k up!" Trust her, she's friendly, despite the fact she will beat you up if you hit her accidentally in the punch-out scene to follow. Hop in the car boot (trunk) and she will drive you to a location where a couple of geeks will introduce you to the Animus 2.0 (kind of like a bright red dentist's chair) and tell you to hop on.

On to most important gameplay, you are a grown man and end up in an Italian street slag fest followed by a brawl. You get injured and have to loot the foes you beat up for cash to afford a doctor. After seeing a doctor, the story will lead to your father, Giovanni getting arrested and falsely imprisonned. Naturally concerned, you climb the tower where Gio is being held and he tells you to deliver a message fingering a few conspirators to his trusted friend, Uberto.

As most good conspiracy stories would have it, Uberto promises to have Giovanni released the next morning, instead promptly orders the hanging of Giovanni and your two brothers.

Now, starting with finding Uberto and making a jelly donut out of him with your newly acquired Hidden Blade, the rest of the story is all about extracting revenge and popping off the conspirators one by one until you uncover a plethora of conspiracies through illogical means planted by... wait that's too far. You only said the first part. Ignore the last 3 paragraphs....
