How do you get boomerang on castle crashers

In the Industrial Castle level after Pipistrello's Cave, there's a large enemy with the Cardinal animal orb, get the animal and go back to the Forest Entrance level with the owl in the beggining. The Cardinal will find it and give it to you. The Cardinal finds secret items in the game.
