Yes. In Shadow the Hedgehog (the game), when commiting evil deeds, Shadow glows red and becomes "Dark Shadow". In the final battle of the game (as Super Shadow), destroying buildings fills the dark gauge, turning him into Dark Shadow, while he's Super Shadow.
