How did Tails meet Cosmo in Sonic X

Tails meets Cosmo in Sonic X when she fell from the sky in a meteor along with the rest of her people. Tails, Amy, and Cream run to the destruction and he offers to help her and Cream lets her stay at her house for the night since she hit her head and deserves some sleep.
