What moral responsibilities do parents have in regards to video games

This is a hard question to answer generally, but they should judge whether or not a child should be able to play a game based on the rating and the child's age. If they want to judge less generally, they could play the game themselves for awhile and decide themselves if the content is suitable for their children or not.
