You have 512 MB ram can you play a game which reqire 1gb ram

You may be able to play the game, but the video and sound may be choppy. It also may cause your PC to lock up. 1GB is the minimum requirement from the game designers. This is a risk you have to be willing to take, i cannot tell you for certain if it will work or not. Try it out!

I've tried this with Left 4 Dead 2. I have 849 MB of RAM, and the game requires at least 1 GB with my system, which is an XP.
I can tell you, it worked great, but every once in awhile my PC said "Memory usage is too high" so I saved the game and shut it down for a little while.


But 512 RAM is only half of 1 GB, so it's probably going to do a lot of difference.
I suggest you improve the number, otherwise it won't go as you would like it to.
