How do you light the beacons in the game star fox adventures

You need to get Fire Weeds off of the Fire Weed tree (It's the tree with the burning bushels in it). Hit the tree with your staff to knock them down, then hit them with your staff to put out the fire, and pick them up. You'll need 3. Put them in the beacons and use Tricky's flame command to light them.
