Why Assassin’s Creed needs to be harder
Do you remember Assassin’s Creed?
No, I don’t mean the series that we’ve seen slowly become a game of how many weapons can I fit in this hoodie? I’m talking about the original Assassin’s Creed by Ubisoft.
Yes, it was boring at times… repetitiv

Registration is open for the PC March T3 Assassin’s Creed: Revelations Tournament
With the official trailer to Assassin’s Creed 3 sitting just one day away from release or maybe even less from when this goes to publication, what better time is there to make that AC:R PC Tournament that so many have requested? The correct answer is no better time at all

February ACR Tournament Grand Finals results
I’d like to apologize to the subscribers of the T3 YouTube channel. I promised them first rights to tournament footage, but was unable to deliver the finals matches due to my PC problems.
Mea culpa, so they say.
More importantly, I’d like to thank everyone, including

Well, the spreadsheets have been… spread… and the Qualifying Bracket assignments for the tournament are complete. The players shown below will be duking it out for the chance to prove themselves the lords and/or ladies of digital online assassination.

Revelations March PC Tournament: CANCELLED!
Well isn’t this a fine mess.
For those of you who don’t play AC:R on the PC, let me fill you in on something that’s happened lately. Basically, there was an update which meant that a large number of people could no longer connect to sessions or play games.

Why the next PC ACR tournament will be a rousing success
After the travesty that was the last tournament, a lot of you very kindly took to the comments of the relevant articles (and my YouTube channel) with some very . . . helpful?
Yeah, I’ll roll with helpful.
Very helpful comments on how to improve and make things an all aroun

Revelations returns with exhibition match footage
Don’t worry your little hearts, I still love Assassin’s Creed multiplayer. And while the most recent patch may have soured a few peoples’ feelings on the game, there’s still plenty of fun to be had. Case in point: the footage below.
Okay, technically it

More bonus ACR: Deathmatch on Castel Gandolfo
Last time on Top Tier Tactics, I posted a video where I squared off against the players of ACR Tournament Bracket A in a few rounds of Corruption. As you might guess, I won handily.
But how would I fare in a “death match” against the constituents of Bracket B? Would

See what you’re missing in the T3 forums
When I first announced the T3 Forums, I didn’t really know what to expect.
Part of me thought they’d be a dustbowl of digital failure, filled with empty, admin-made threads begging for comments.
Another part of me assumed they’d open a security vulnerability on

Bowling for Trolls in Assassin’s Creed Revelations
Welcome! Today, I’d like to discuss the finer art of trolling. I don’t mean trolling to be a pain in the ass to the entire ACR lobby. I don’t mean trolling random people, or people who are winning, or even people who are simply playing reasonably well. Hell, th

A tale of two Templar: Videos from the viewers
I wanted to get this in for the weekend before E3 insanity (and with it, Rabid Ferret’s) begins.
I’m always getting interesting stuff from fans. Some of it is thank you notes (you’re welcome!). Other messages are hatemail.
And sometimes I’ll even get a co

Interview with Ubisoft: Tell us what YOU want to know about Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer!
We know you’re on the edge of your seats to learn more about Assassin’s Creed 3.
No, not the single player missions you’ll finish in one sitting. We’re talking about the adrenaline-fueled secrecy fest that is Templar-based multiplayer. Well, you’re

New ACR footage, including an impressive fan video
It’s been a while since I’ve played ACR in any serious capacity, but just as with last year, the Steam Sale has lured me into a game I thought was on the shelf.
Actually, Pixel Enemy’s Mark Remo was the one who hooked me up, ostensibly to ask for my coaching on

Assassins Creed 3 multiplayer preview interview: Damien Kieken
While it took a while from our original inquest into the Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer component, we’re happy today to deliver Ubisoft’s answers.

A note to the “pros” of Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer
Assassin’s Creed 2 was, by all measures, a huge success. The game’s critical and consumer reception was tremendously positive, driving purchases to over 10 million units across all platforms. It was a sales achievement that rivaled the series’ original mileston

A note from a n00b of Assassin’s Creed 3 multiplayer
WiNG’s latest AC article has me clapping, with reservation. I completely agree with his sentiment of “teach, don’t taunt.” No community is built on the backs of haters, children, and general negativity. No, not even Call of Duty’s. The entire YouTub

Assassin’s Creed 3 impressions from New York Comic Con
Shambling into New York Comic Con, I checked my to-do list. It was short, but some semblance of order was necessary if I was going to meet my goals for the convention.
Cover Assassin’s Creed 3
Do not touch the filthy masses
Play at least one Wii U title
Give out 4,000 bus

WiNGSPAN guest stars on The Assassin’s Den podcast
If you’re familiar with Loomer979, you know he takes his Assassin’s Creed just as seriously as I do. So when he asked me to join him, Escoblades, and Subject 17 on The Assassin’s Den podcast, I was thrilled.
After all, I had just returned from checking out Assa
