Destiny’s upcoming DLC House of Wolves will be releasing soon alongside brand new gear which I’m sure all of you are impatient to get your hands on. So you want to be one of the first to get the new gear right? Well do I have a nice and easy tip for you guys! Read on below.
Basically what you need to do is collect Postmaster’s reward packages. Players will get a reward package after advancing in ranks after rank 3 in Vanguard, Faction and Crucible. The reward packs when open award players with items and engrams. Think of these packs as trading card booster packs. These packs will have items from the House of Wolves DLC after its release.
Now what you guys need to do is progress along your ranks so it’s just below the threshold where it levels up. When House of Wolves comes along, get the remaining experience and get your reward packages which will contain gear from the new DLC. This can be done with all three of your characters if you bothered making extra ones it will increase your chances to get the new items.
It is recommended that you wait till the DLC releases to claim your reward packs since last time players saved the packs from before the release of the last DLC, The Dark Below, and they did not work.
Destiny’s House of Wolves DLC releases May 19 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
