Mutant Roadkill Tips & Tricks for a Perfect Strategy

Yesterday I told you about a brand new endless runner game available on Google Play, Mutant Roadkill. The game is absolutely amazing and has few flaws, but many challenges and this is the reason why I have decided to write this article and share with you some really useful Mutant Roadkill tips & tricks that will help you get better at the game and hopefully go for that much-needed perfect run.

When it comes to strategy playing this type of games, many would say that it’s useless, but I tend to disagree and you will see what I mean after reading this article. Now let’s get to work and let’s check out some Mutant Roadkill tips and tricks for a perfect strategy!

Mutant Roadkill Tips

1. Save money for a better vehicle
You will feel the need to purchase some upgrades as soon as you have the money, but that would be ill-advised. The first vehicle upgrade is 2,500 silver and you can get that in 30 minutes (or less if you are a great player). Only after you get the better vehicle with stronger armor, try investing in power-ups

2. Best Power-ups to buy
Obviously, your goal will be that of getting all the power-ups, but some are better to start with than the others. Personally, I would recommend to start with the Turret upgrade because it becomes extremely useful when you start to meet the exploding mutants – it’s better to waste them before you are near them than trying to avoid them. Shock would be my second choice and then Nitro Boost.

3. Headstart – pretty useless
This is a power-up I would not advise you to spend your money on, because the first 1.5 miles are real money-makers as the mutants in the area are easy to kill, you can fill up easily the combo meter and get tens of easy silver. It’s like free money after you play a few times, and you should never say no to free money in this game!

4. Killing mutants is not everything!
Most important is to keep the car intact, so don’t risk it all to hit the mutants. There are some very tricky areas in the game where you will be better focusing on the driving rather than trying to hit the mutants.

5. Pick up the power-ups along the way
Every time at the same spots, you will get the chance to earn a power-up. Try to learn their locations and always get them – it’s an important free boost & bonus!

6. Use the Revive option only when it counts!
You can revive at any point after your car crashes, but be careful because each revive will be more expensive than the one before. So don’t spend money to revive your car early on when your skills are not that good and save these valuable cheap revives for when you get better and the revive will really count and reward you a lot.

7. Drive carefully when mutants jump on your car
Don’t turn left and right too fast as your car can turn – try to scrape off the mutants first and try to drive as smooth as possible!

8. Keep going!
The truth is that you might actually suck at first. It’s natural, and things will change with time. The more you play the game, the better you’ll get at it. So don’t quit if the first few times nothing seems to go right. You will see that soon things will go great and you’ll be able to drive long runs!
