I Wish I Were The Moon
Genre: Puzzle
Game Review
I Wish I Were The Moon is an experimental Point'n'Click game designed by Daniel Benmergui. There is no instruction apparently. And the scene where the game takes place includes several objects and characters. There is a girl on a boat staring at a boy, serenely sitting upon a large, floating moon, which he seems to be in love with. In short, there seems to be a strange love triangle between the boy, the girl, and the moon. Shooting stars and a gull regularly fly above. Players can select most of the objects and transport them to any other part of the screen. Depending on what the player does, one of nine endings are possible.
The concept is beautiful and the maker of the game came up with an idea that has never been done before. The graphics are very simple but they are appropriate and fit well with the game. As far as appreciating the game goes, love the concept of the game and the short gameplay. When I first played this game, thought it had only one ending. Well, boom, surprise! There's multiple endings! And what I truly enjoyed is that you have the power to change their fate. Very nice!
