Top 5 Games We’re Looking Forward to on Xbox One

With all of the games announced to be on the Xbox One, there are a few that we at GameTipCenter are excited about more than the rest.

More than anything, I’m excited to see a lot of promising new franchises come out, as well as some resurgences of older franchises that haven’t been out in a while.

So here you have it, GameTipCenter’s most anticipated Xbox One titles:

5. Minecraft

Yes, you read that right.. Minecraft is in my top 5. It doesn’t even have a release date yet, but I’ve been excited for since it was announced. I’ve always preferred playing Minecraft on the console, primarily because I’m still a fan of couch co-op games. The Xbox 360 version did have its shortcomings, with less features and smaller maps than the PC version, but it’s still one of my favorites that I always end up going back to.

4. Watch Dogs

This Deus Ex style game looks very promising to me. You play a hacker that can control traffic lights, stop trains, hack into security cameras, and other Matrix style stuff. What’s not to like about that? Ubisoft is making it as well, and if anyone can pull this one off, they can.

3. Thief

This is a personal favorite of mine. When I heard that they were working on a new Thief game, I about fell over. Thief was really the stealth game that defined the genre, but back in those days they were somewhat limited in what they could do with it. With the technology possible these days however, I feel like now is the perfect time to revitalize this franchise. Do it right SquareEnix, that’s all I ask!

2 Destiny

Bungie left the Halo franchise to start a new, exciting one in Destiny. It has about everything you could want in an epic sci-fi story, set in a brand new Halo-ish world that only Bungie can create. Watch out Titanfall, Destiny might be coming for you.

1. Titanfall

The first gameplay footage I saw of Titanfall instantly made me a believer. Open world FPS with some Mech battles thrown in? Parcor style running on walls with jetpacks? Sign me up please! With a lot of Call of Duty experience behind its creation, I can see Titanfall being one of the big new franchises of the next gen consoles.
