Xbox 360: How to Delete Games From the Hard Drive

On the Xbox 360, you can delete installed games from the hard drive if you need to save up some space.

This guide applies to the latest graphical interface.

Go to the home screen with the game in the tray that you want to delete.

With the game hi-lighted on the Home screen, you’ll see the Game Details option at the bottom by pressing the X button.

On the Overview tab of the Game Details screen, you’ll see the Delete option. If you don’t see the Delete option, then the game was never installed to the hard drive.

You should also be able to delete the game from the Storage area in Settings if you no longer have access to the game in question.
