Grand Theft Auto V has two different aerial challenges for you to complete using airplanes or helicopters. To complete the task, you’ll have to fly under 50 bridges all over Los Santos, without touching any part of the bridge. Completing this challenge is required to unlock the 20 point achievement or bronze trophy called Clove Shave.
You can complete these challenge markers with any character, but Trevor will have the best flying ability off the bat. You can get helicopters at the helipads you can buy in Vespucci, or get airplanes at Trevor’s airship at McKenzie Field. You can also use the Internet on any character’s smartphone to buy an aircraft.
Start at the San Chianski Mountain Range. Find the bridge that straddles Grapeseed Avenue. Fly in between the bridge supports and watch out for the telephone poles on the side of the road. This is one of the easiest bridges to fly under.
This bridge is also along Grapeseed Avenue. You’ll actually need to fly under the overpass for Highway 1. To avoid hitting the overpass, remain flush with the road and fly under using a slower plane, like the Stunt or Cuban 800.
Follow Highway 1 into Mount Chiliad. You’ll come across a train bridge that goes over the highway. This one is fairly easy. Use a slow plane for better control.
Fly along Cassidy Creek to find a bridge near the west mouth of the Alamo Sea. Pass under the bridge, avoiding the middle support.
This one is also along Cassidy Creek. Follow the river out towards the ocean, away from the Alamo Sea. This one has plenty of room for most aircraft.
Where Cassidy Creek meets the ocean, look for a large Highway 1 bridge and coast under it.
Head towards the Altruist Camp in Mount Chiliad. There is a straight mountain bridge here, and it’s best to fly under it with a helicopter.
Go to the Lago Zancudo river near the ocean mouth and fly under the Great Ocean Highway bridge. It’s easier to use an airplane instead of a helicopter here.
Turn around and fly on the Lago Zancudo river towards Fort Zancudo. There will be a bridge spanning the river; fly underneath easily.
This bridge is part of Route 66. Fly south from the above bridge to find it. There’s plenty of room to pass under with most aircrafts.
This covered bridge is along the Zancudo River, so head up towards the Alamo Sea to come across it. The bridge is low, so use a light, small aircraft.
Keep following the Zancudo River up towards the Alamo Sea to find this rail bridge. Use a light aircraft to easily pass under this bridge.
Right after the above bridge, find the Calafia Road bridge also spanning the river. Use a light aircraft, as this bridge is a little narrower than others.
Go south to find the next bridge. The bridge is the overpass for Route 68. Use a helicopter for easy maneuvering.
Head east over to the Senora Freeway. Look for an overpass here, to the west of Davis Quartz. Use a small aircraft and carefully fly under the overpass. Watch out for traffic on the road.
Follow the Senora Freeway south and find the next overpass at Interstate 13. This one is tall, so there’s plenty of room for your plane.
Head east and find a train bridge over Senora Way. Watch out for any big trucks on the road.
Keep following Senora Way south from the above bridge. Find another rail bridge and fly underneath carefully, watching out for the supports.
Fly south just a bit from the above bridge to find the next overpass. Fly under this part of Palomino Freeway to complete this one.
Head east to the little bit off land jutting out into the sea. There’s a natural rock bridge here; you’ll have to fly low but avoid crashing into the water.
Go south a ways and fly along Sustancia Road in the Tataviam Mountains. Find the rail bridge overpass and carefully fly underneath the middle section of it.
Head down along the Palomino Freeway and look for the rail bridge crossing the freeway. This overpass is pretty high, so just glide along over the traffic in a light plane to easily get underneath.
Keep heading south along the Palomino Freeway and look for the spot where it turns into an overpass over El Rancho Boulevard. It’s near the flood control dam facility. Pass underneath the freeway carefully.
Head up to the Del Perro Freeway, where it meets with a Vespucci Boulevard overpass. Fly underneath the overpass.
Keep following Del Perro Freeway and fly under the overpass for San Andreas Avenue. Using a helicopter is easiest for this one.
Head north from the above bridge and find the Highway 18 overpass near the flood control area. This one is pretty challenging. Use a small helicopter and maneuver through as carefully as possible.
Head a bit south and find the next overpass in the same flood control area. Use a small chopper and avoid the supports.
Go southwest and find the Highway 17 overpass in the flood control area. There is plenty of clearance for either a helicopter or a small airplane.
Keep following the way south through the flood control area and pass underneath the Del Perro Freeway overpass. There’s plenty of room for any aircraft.
Continue down the flood control area and pass under the San Andreas Avenue overpass. There’s plenty of room at this bridge too.
Follow the flood control area further south and find the Vespucci Boulevard overpass. Use a small helicopter or aircraft to fly through.
Keep going down the flood control passage and come to the Olympic Freeway overpass. Fly under one of the side passages easily.
Continue south and find the Capital Boulevard overpass across the flood control area. Pass through over the water for the most clearance.
Keep heading south and find the Innocence Boulevard here. Cross over the water using a small plane or chopper.
Keep going south in the same flood control area and fly under the Dutch London Street overpass. There’s more clearance on the west side.
Keep heading south towards the ocean. Find the Chum Street bridge, which crosses over the water. The best place to fly under is on the east side.
Go a bit further south and look for a rail bridge crossing over the water. It’s fairly low, so use a helicopter for the best chance.
Right near the above bridge, find the Buccaneer Way bridge over the water. It is a short bridge with many obstacles nearby, so use a small chopper.
This is the last bridge in this particular area. There is a huge overpass for Elysian Fields Freeway. There are no worries about fitting under this bridge.
Head a little northwest, in the direction of the other side of the harbor. You’ll come across a low bridge over the water for Signal Street. You’ll need to practically skim the water’s surface to get under.
Keep heading west and keep your eyes peeled for a rail bridge over the water. This one is low too, so use caution.
Head west to the La Puetra Freeway over the water. Go under the Mariam Turner overpass. There’s plenty of room for any aircraft.
From here, head up and little east to the flood control canal area. Find the bridge for Dutch London Street and fly under using a helicopter.
Keep heading up the flood control area. There will be an overpass for Strawberry Avenue. Fly over the water for the most clearance.
Follow the flood control corridor and fly under a bridge for Alta Street. Watch out for the curve after the overpass.
Continue on in the canal and come across a large bridge for Interstate 5. This one is pretty tall, so it shouldn’t pose a problem.
Keep following the flood control canal and look for a rail bridge that will pass overhead. It’s a little low, so use a helicopter or small aircraft.
The next bridge is dead ahead. Follow the water and go underneath the fairly high Dutch London Street overpass.
This one is also straight ahead. Continue along the water and cross under the large Greenwich Parkway bridge.
Last one! Head northwest along the shoreline. In Chumash, along Highway 1, look for a pedestrian bridge that goes over the highway. Use a small plane or chopper, as this bridge is pretty low and there is a lot of traffic to get in your way.
