Dead Rising 2: Make Vehicles Indestructible

In Dead Rising 2 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, there is a way to duplicate the magazines multiple times so that once your inventory is full of them, vehicles you drive will be practically indestructible.

Each type of magazine makes your vehicles last three times longer. Each copy of the magazine you have will increase this by another three fold, so three copies will make a vehicle last twenty seven times longer. Imagine having twelve copies?

First, you’ll need to do this with a friend that is willing to help you, and it’s probably best if you can communicate with them somehow.

Have your friend collect the Driving magazine or Bikes magazine and then save their game. Once the game is saved, have them request to join a coop game with you. Once they have joined, have them drop the magazine so you can pick it up, and have them exit out of the game without saving, so that they keep the magazine.

Keep doing this as many times as you want. I would say you don’t necessarily need twelve copies, since they each compound the effect.
