Call of Duty – Black Ops: Tips to Complete Hacker Pro Perk Challenges

The Hacker perk in Call of Duty: Black Ops for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC is a nice perk that will help you see enemy equipment much easier. Enemies love to place Claymores and Turrets right around corners for unsuspecting victims, so if you’re getting hit by them a lot, then this can help quite a bit.

The Hacker Pro perk upgrade gives you the added benefit of being able to turn enemy equipment and turrets to your side. You can also booby trap stolen crates, which I must say is extremely funny to watch when they think they’re about to get a bonus, and it ends up exploding in their face. You also get the benefit of being invisible to enemy Motion Sensor equipment.

Don’t forget that you need to purchase the Hacker Pro perk upgrade after it’s unlocked for 3,000 COD points.

Here is the list of challenges for the Hacker Pro perk upgrade, and some tips to help you complete them:

Destroys – Destroy 10 equipment or explosives while using Hacker

Simply destroy enemy equipment or explosives. Hacker will let you see them much easier, so keep your eyes peeled.

Explosive Kills – Kill 25 enemies with a Claymore or C4

Simply plant your Claymores around blind corners so your enemies can’t see them. At the top of ladders is a great spot as well, since they’re basically unavoidable. Something fun to do as well is to plant a C4 on a domination or HQ spot, etc. with a Spy Plane or Blackbird up and wait for an enemy or two to come rushing in, and blow them to bits. This works well in popular camp spots as well. Another tactic is to place a Claymore or C4 near a spot where you just killed an enemy, so they’ll get caught in it when they come back for the revenge kill.

Near Equipment Kills – Kill 25 enemies within the radius of your Jammer or Motion Sensor

Plant your Motion Sensor or Jammer and camp a spot, and kill anyone that comes into the radius of your equipment. Motion Sensor is a little more inconspicuous, since the Jammer will give away that you might be in the area. Equip the Ghost perk with this so you’re less detectable. Use a Decoy grenade to help lure enemies right where you want them for an easier kill.
