Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City: Endings Guide

In Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the PS3 and Xbox 360, there are two different endings you can see.

It should go without saying, but this has spoilers in it so don’t read this if you are worried about spoiling the ending.

Operation Raccoon City Endings

At the end of of the game, you are given an option to either defend or kill Leon. Depending on what you choose, things will pan out differently.

You may want to save before you start this process though, as there are three achievements you can get for viewing the different endings.

Defend Leon Ending

If you choose to defend Leon, part of your group will split and you’ll have to fight them as well as hordes of enemies coming in. There are several power weapons scattered around the area, so make sure to grab them.

Take out your team members that turned on you first. Keep Leon alive as best as you can, and keep the team members that stayed with you alive as well if possible since they distract the enemies fairly well.

There are two achievements/trophies for both losing and winning this fight

Kill Leon Ending

If you choose to kill Leon, part of your group will split and you’ll have to fight them, Leon, and a horde of enemies coming in. There are several power weapons scattered around the area, so make sure to grab them.

Take out your team members that turned on you first, and try to keep the team members that stayed with you alive as well if possible since they distract the enemies fairly well. Light up Leon until enemies start to come out, then focus on them. Watch out for Leon’s grenade attacks, and don’t let him get in close because his Close Quarters Combat move will kill you in one shot.

There is one achievement/trophy for winning this fight.
