The Wildcard system is a new feature in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
Basically, Wildcards allow you to spend extra points to use something you wouldn’t normally be able to use.
For example, you can’t normally equip more than one perk in each perk slot, but with the Greed wildcards, you can spend one point to equip the wildcard, and then a point to equip the extra perk.
Obviously this has an increased cost, since it costs to equip the wildcard, so that is one less point that you could have spent elsewhere, but for example if you don’t really need attachments on your weapon, or if you don’t need that second tactical item or rarely use them, then these might be points well spent on something a little more useful.
Wildcards are unlocked simply by leveling up.
Here are the wildcards you can unlock, what they do, and what level you need to get to unlock them.
