Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA V) has a lot to offer, so naturally we want to the best tips out there.
This guide is a compilation of all of the best cheats, tips, tricks, guides, and everything else you can imagine.
This is a working list at the moment, so we’ll be adding to it constantly as time goes on and more tips are found.
If you find something helpful, please feel free to let us know in the comments section below.
For those of you that loved the girlfriend system in Grand Theft Auto 4, I’m sorry to report that you can’t get that type of girlfriend in Grand Theft Auto 5.
You can however have what a lot of guys would consider something better, which is a cell phone full of phone numbers for stripper booty calls!
That’s right, you can have every stripper at the club at your beckoned call, sexting you naughty pics every now and again!
Hit up the Strip Club in your best pimp swag (not necessary, but it sounded good) and talk to your favorite stripper. She’ll ask if you want to go private, your answer of course is YES!
Once Diamond, or Sapphire , or whatever your strippers name is starts doing her thing, you’ll have options to touch and flirt with her. Be careful though, if the bouncer catches you touching her then he’ll throw your ass out on the street.
Quick tip: Watch for the bouncer to walk away, he always comes back in about 12 seconds, so act fast!
You’ll see a like bar in the bottom right hand corner. If you can manage to evade the bouncer long enough and impress the stripper to fill that bar, you should get an option at the end of your “dance” to take her home.
After you take her home for some “hot coffee”, her contact info should be stored in your phone for future stripper booty call use.
One of the new features in Grand Theft Auto 5 is the ability to play with the stock market.
One of the new features in Grand Theft Auto 5 is the ability to play with the stock market.
There is a lot of money to be had, but it’s hard to see how it works at first.
My initial reaction was.. ok, I’m going to buy some stocks that are on a downward trend and wait for them to rise.
So I waited, and waited, and waited.. with no action.
After I got discouraged, I just simply used the stocks in the BAWSAQ as savings accounts so that I wasn’t losing tons of cash when I died.
Shortly after this, I figured out how you really make a ton of cash on the Grand Theft Auto 5 stock market.
**Quick Tip** I would suggest waiting to do this until you’ve completed the main story missions. I don’t want to give anything away, but lets just say you end up with a lot more money to invest in this strategy.
A little while after the diamond heist mission with Lester, you’ll start to open up Assassination missions with him.
Lester will have a company targeted that he wants to harm, and he’ll give you a tip to which stock will go up because of it.
In order to fully maximize your profits, save your game before any of these Assassination missions. Start the mission to see which stock will be going up (he tells you during the start of each mission), then load up your saved game.
Go to each of the three characters and put every dime you have into this stock.
Now go back to the character with the Assassination mission and complete it. Go check out your portfolio, and you’ll watch the stock price rise about every minute.
You have to be patient here, don’t sell too early or you’ll lose out on a good amount of money.
Once you see the stock price flatten out (no change after several minutes) , go to each character and sell all of your assets in the stock.
If you want to make even more money, take the money you made and reinvest in the stock that you took down, because it should be bottoming out at this point. This one takes quite a bit longer to see gains, but after about an hour of real time playing (not in game hours), the stock should be back where it started, and you’ll make a ton of money off of it. Do NOT do this with LifeInvader however, this stock never seems to go back up.
After all of this, make sure to reinvest your money in some of the more stable BAWSAQ stocks so you don’t lose it when you die. I personally like the Daily Globe stock (DGP) because it doesn’t seem to fluctuate much.
Start any mission, and after you start the mission, visit your local Ammu-Nation store.
Purchase every weapon upgrade you can afford, then go die so you can restart the mission. Get run over by a car, drive really fast and run into something, however you want to die it doesn’t matter. For an easy way out though, use some of your money to purchase a grenade or sticky bomb.
Once you start the mission again, you’ll notice that you still have your money, but you also still have those weapon upgrades you purchased.
Do this a few times and you’ll have every weapon upgrade in the game for free.
There are two different ways to repair your car for free (or any vehicle for that matter).
1. Switch characters – Every time you switch to a different character, your vehicle is somehow magically repaired. This is the quickest way to repair your car for free, since you can switch to a different character and back within a few seconds.
2. Save and load your game – If you do a quick save, then pause the game and load up your save, your car will be repaired after the game loads.
To change your weapon reticle, pause the game and go to Settings – Display. Change the Weapon Target setting to Complex.
This doesn’t change the aiming system at all, it just changes the reticle to be different for all weapons. For example, rifles will have a crosshair, pistols will have the dot with a shaded circle around it, etc.
The Bugatti Veyron (aka Truffade Adder) is new to the GTA series making its debut in Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online.
The Adder kind of looks like a mix between the Bugatti Veyron, and the Saab Aero X.. almost like if these two beautiful super-cars had a beautiful super-car child together. More people have associated it with the Bugatti Veyron however, since it’s more recognizable these days.
This Bugatti Veyron like car is one of the fastest cars in the game, up there with the Pegassi Infernus, and Grotti Cheetah.
If you want to get yourself a Bugatti Veyron in GTA 5 then you’re in luck, because I have a perfect spawn point where you can find one.
You can find the Adder parked on Portola Drive in Rockford Hills, on the southwest side of the street at the following location:
This street is meant to emulate Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, CA. Apparently a very rich jewelry mogul likes to park his Bugatti Veyron out on the street to attract business.
Sounds like the most expensive billboard imaginable in my opinion, but whatever works I suppose.
I can’t lie, it’s a pretty car, and one of the fastest in the game for sure. I’ll be pitting it against my Infernus soon though to see who the real champ is.
There are several helicopters scattered throughout the city ready waiting for you to find them, and steal them of course.
Sure you can input a cheat code to spawn one, but if you want one to use legitimately then you’ll have to find one.
Luckily there is a pair of them close to you right at the beginning of the game.
Go straight east a couple streets from the first safehouse (Franklin’s House) to find the hospital.
On the northwest corner of the Hospital near the emergency vehicle entrance, look for a ladder to climb up. Go up this section, and you’ll find one more ladder that leads to the helipad, where you’ll find two helicopters waiting for you.
There are several Buzzard attack helicopters lying around the city that you can take. Here is the location for one of them.
On the east side of the city near the starting area (toward the Palomino Highlands area), you’ll see a highway that leads northeast of the city and curves toward the north the further out it goes.
If you take the first right on this highway, and then go left when the road splits. Go to the very end of this road heading north and you’ll end up at the Los Santos Government Facility.
Once you go through the first gate, take an immediate left and bust through the chain-link gate. No one will come after you for doing this.
Straight ahead will be a tall building with several ladders going up. Climb up to the top and you’ll find the pretty little Buzzard Attack Helicopter waiting for you to steal.

You can find a parachute in GTA 5 that will let you jump off some pretty cool stuff for some aerial fun.
No need to use any cheat codes to get a parachute, because you can actually find one at the very beginning of the game.
The best way to find the parachute is to look on your game map and find the two waypoints for the cable cars. Set a waypoint for the eastern cable car.
It’s going to be way up there in the northern part of the map in the mountains. You’ll find the parachute on the platform of the eastern cable car.
To make getting the parachute even easier, go grab a helicopter so you can fly up to the top of the mountain.
There are several airfields in Grand Theft Auto 5, with planes ripe for the taking.
No need for cheat codes here, we’re going to steal one the old fashioned way.
Stealing an airplane is actually fairly easy, it’s landing that’s the hard part.
Once you open up Trevor as a playable character you’ll instantly gain access to a few small air fields with some aircraft, but these are a ways off the beaten path. If you want to make a quick escape, I’ll show you how to find a nice plane closer to town.
The Los Santos International Airport has several small private jets that you can hijack. You’ll find the Airport at the southwest corner of the map.
Once you go through the gate, you should see two private jets directly in front of you and to the right a little bit. Once you get out onto the tarmac, you’ll instantly get a three star wanted level.
This shouldn’t be a big deal though, because you’ll lose them after a few minutes of flying around. You need to act fast though, as security and police seem to come out of nowhere and start firing on you, damaging the plane if you take too long.
One big tip for flying: use the bumpers for small adjustments.
Enjoy flying around in your new plane, and have fun landing for the first time.
All of these cheat codes are simply entered while playing the game to enable the cheat.
Remember that saves are turned off once you turn on a cheat, and trophies and achievements are turned off as well, so make sure your game is saved before you start playing with these.
